With 182 years’ experience combined in the leasing industry and counting, we’ve heard it all here at WestWon. We hear a range of reasons why catering equipment suppliers don’t offer leasing to their customers. However, did you know that you’re potentially putting your own business at risk by not offering leasing? WestWon have written a blog series ‘Why Don’t You Offer Leasing?’ (see Part 1 “Our Customers Are Cash Rich” & Part 2 “Our Customers Never Ask For It”), describing the most common reasons why suppliers don’t offer leasing, and why you may be losing out because of this.
‘It’s too complicated’
When we speak to prospective suppliers about offering leasing to their customers, we get told that their customers find the process ‘too complicated’ and ‘it’s not worth the hassle.’ While we’ve all heard nightmares of poor customer service when applying for a loan or funding through your bank, this is not the case when leasing your assets through WestWon. In this blog we’re discussing the reasons we are told leasing is too complicated, and why this is not the case using WestWon.
Waiting weeks for a response
WestWon pride themselves in offering an unrivalled customer service in the industry. While we hear of catering suppliers waiting days, sometimes even over a week for a quote or response from their finance company, we agree this is unacceptable. The catering division of WestWon has a policy to get a quote or enquiry turned around within two hours, ensuring you and your customer are not kept waiting.
Endless Filling In Forms
While this may be associated to applying for a bank loan or mortgage, a customer applying for asset finance will find the process simple and efficient. Upon credit acceptance, we will meet with your customer to sign the finance documents in one sitting (which can take less than 10 minutes). Upon signature of the documents, you as a supplier will receive invoice instructions from us to raise your invoice. As soon as we receive your invoice and the equipment is delivered, you get paid in full. Simple and minimal paperwork.
Talking To A Call Centre/No Relationship
While constantly repeating yourself to a customer service team or call centre may be the case with larger banks and other finance companies, this is not the case with WestWon. As a supplier, you will receive your very own account manager, who you can call to discuss any enquiry throughout the day. If your account manager is unavailable, then a member of our internal team will be able to assist.
WestWon strives on building relationships with our catering suppliers. While some companies have been working alongside WestWon over 20 years, hundreds of equipment suppliers throughout the UK are feeling the benefit of our personalised service, and you could be too.
