BACKGROUND

This well established engineering consulting company required this StrainMaster HS 3D imaging system for a new R&D contract they were recently rewarded. With a total of over £250,000’s worth of new equipment required, they contacted WestWon, whom they’ve used multiple times in the past, for funding for the equipment.

With the company not willing to provide any additional security behind the lease in the form of a personal guarantee, and to give the customer the most competitive rate possible, WestWon split the agreement over 3 different lenders. With the credit in place, WestWon were introduced to a new supplier, who had never done leasing before. Upon initial discussions with the supplier, they were pleased to be paid within 72 hours of delivery and installation. With the company offering 30 day credit terms to the customer, they were delighted to be receiving funds in full earlier than expected.

With the documents signed and with the equipment delivered, the agreement was activated and the supplier was paid in full.

Once the equipment was installed, WestWon met with the supplier to discuss offering a leasing option to their customers, and 5 year WestWon leasing quotations are provided with every equipment quotation sent out.

In total the engineering consulting company has now used WestWon on 8 occasions, with just short of £500,000 + VAT’s worth of healthcare equipment funded.
