BACKGROUND

A new start scaffolding company in Devon were looking at ways that they could build the company’s asset base without using too much of their own personal cash. Of course, their first port of call was their bank. Although they have banked with the same bank for years, their bank was unable to offer them any kind of a bank loan to help them to get their business up and running. Bearing in mind that the owners of the business have experience of starting a profitable scaffolding company, their bank wouldn’t even offer them an overdraft.

Realising that raising the funds they needed to stock their yard, pay outstanding invoices and to allow them to compete with the best companies in their area was going to be a lot harder than they expected. Upon speaking to WestWon, they realised that we could help them to achieve what the banks couldn’t.

WHAT OUR CLIENT SAID

This particular business had estimated that they required £20,000.00 + VAT worth of materials, this level of funding would allow them to compete for larger contracts, stock their yard and put them in a fantastic position to compete with their competition.

Upon receipt of the support information WestWon required, we had an acceptance in place for the full £20,000.00 + VAT within 4 hours. 6 days on from the acceptance, all the materials had been delivered and their supplier had been paid in full. On top of that, WestWon managed to secure a further £20,000.00 + VAT which this company can use over the next 3 months. Allowing them to budget better, manage their assets and continue to tender for the contracts that they want to win.
