BACKGROUND

With a customer book of over 150 customers, ranging from small builders to large development and construction companies, this well-established building construction and steel fabrication in London were in a position where they were turning away business due to not having enough man power.

After some research, the company chose to purchase an Ocean Avenger fabricator as the fabricator provided the customer an opportunity to dramatically increase productivity whilst maintaining their current labour headcount. In this customer’s case, they currently fabricate between 80 – 100 tons per month with five fabricators. With the Ocean Avenger this number increased to 400 Tons per month – with the same five fabricators. They would be able to increase their capacity by 400% without having to increase their labour force. Add this with the estimated 20 year life of the equipment and it seemed a no brainer for the customer to proceed and purchase the equipment.

WHAT OUR CLIENT SAID

The customer could not afford to pay over £100,000 for a new fabrication machine but were introduced to WestWon by the supplier of the equipment. After a chat to get some additional information, WestWon got the credit in place for the customer and met with the customer to sign up the documentation.

There was a short wait while the equipment was shipped in from the USA and upon install, the lease agreement was activated and the supplier was paid in full.
