Plus Finance Limited are one of our key competitors in leasing, focusing on the furniture and fit out sector in the UK. The company was incorporated in 2001 by Nicki Matthews and Steve Pullen. Nicki is well known in leasing, being the second employee at Wyse Leasing where she worked for many years. She was responsible for setting up the Wyse Leasing Furniture Division, a successful operation at Wyse Leasing before deciding to venture out on her own with Steve, the beginning of Plus Finance Limited.
Many leasing companies in the UK offer leasing for the furniture sector, the other key player being Bluestone Leasing, which prior to being sold was the Northern operation of Wyse Leasing. Both Plus Finance and Bluestone Leasing have a significant amount of experience in financing office furniture and fit out projects for companies looking to renovate offices. They are both professional companies with a high degree of sector knowledge and many years of experience. As far as we know, Plus Finance Limited is the only leasing company in the UK that have made a clear statement that they mainly focus in this market.
Competition is always a good thing for the consumer. Having choice is positive, it helps us all to keep focused on offering the best level of customer service and competitive pricing. Looking back at the earlier years at Wyse Leasing, the company worked mainly in the IT sector where Syscap was the UK number one IT leasing company. Syscap did an amazing job of promoting the benefits of leasing to computer resellers throughout the UK. It made our job easier to sell computer leasing as so many companies had already been introduced to how it works. The same concept applies today where our competition helps spread the word as to why so many suppliers offer a leasing option to their office furniture and fit out clients.
Clearly, our job is not to promote the competition, we like to think that we can rival these companies when it comes to offering a high level of customer service whilst also remaining very competitive with lease rates. Our company ethos is never to speak badly of companies like Plus Finance.
