Best supplier of commercial gym equipment
There are over 150 companies supplying gym equipment in the UK, ranging from an exercise ball to a treadmill. The gym sector can be confusing to the average person. Some commercial gym machine manufacturer companies sell direct and or via suppliers of gym equipment. Suppliers then might only stock and supply a small range of equipment, so is the advice they are giving completely independent?

WestWon do not sell or supply commercial gym equipment in the UK. We are a commercial gym equipment leasing company and agnostic to the manufacturer or supplier. Yes, we have good relationships with some gym manufactures and not others, but ultimately, we can finance most types of fitness kit and will work with nearly all gym suppliers.
What is interesting is that if you speak to ten different suppliers of running machines for example, they will all tell you their running machine is the best. How then do you really have a true independent view on the equipment and the companies supplying the kit?
We research, meet, visit and talk to all UK commercial gym equipment suppliers
We will have spoken to and maybe met, nearly all of the UK suppliers of gym equipment. Others, we will have visited their premises to see what they are like. Interestingly, undertaking our research, we have seen gym equipment websites without a telephone number. We have visited commercial gym equipment supplier’s offices only to find out they work out of a back bedroom. We have undertaken numerous credit reports on companies to get a feel for their size, only to see that their website gives the impression of a big company when actually they are very small.
Does it matter who the gym equipment supplier is?
In the main, we do not think a poor website, or someone operating out of a bedroom will cause the end user company buying gym equipment any problems. Even if the supplier was to stop trading, there is a high chance another company will be able to service and maintain equipment.
The only real issue we see is with delivery. Quite a few suppliers of gym equipment want a large cash deposit prior to even ordering the equipment. One would ask why do they do this? Is it really to secure the order or is it they do not have the cash to pay the manufacture? If you have paid a big deposit and the company was to stop trading, then clearly this would present a problem to you.
