WestWon Launch Leasing Calculator

WestWon are pleased to announce the launch of leasingcalculator.co.uk, a website designed to promote the benefits of leasing to the SME community.

Speaking on behalf of the leasing calculator project, WestWon CEO Jeremy Hall noted, “Leasing calculator is the brain child of our marketing department who have then taken an idea and turned it into reality. It is based on research we have undertaken into the buying habits of business people when looking at forms of finance for their company. Many people who are thinking about business leasing just want a quick quote to give a general idea as to what their lease repayments will be. They often do not wish to hand over their email address or provide personal details to then be called by a leasing company. For established companies, one of the things we regularly get asked is “will we be cleared for credit.” We have built a pre-approval process into the website that has a direct API link to a credit information provider, thus giving a pre-approval acceptance within seconds.”

George Shillingford, the team leader in charge of the leasing calculator project further noted;

“We see four main uses of our leasing calculator:

1. People who have not set up in business and just need an idea of rental figurers for equipment they may be looking at
2. New start companies who have never used leasing before
3. Established companies who wish to get an idea of what a lease will cost for budgeting purposes
4. Established companies who require an alternative lease quote

On our home page we use a generic lease calculator. However, we then have a number of other lease calculators linked to asset groups. For example, heavy assets leasing rates will be significantly cheaper than computer equipment or software.
